Description

Color Blind is a story about racial injustice in the south done by a crooked sheriff. Sheriff Craig Barnes is a black sheriff in the deep south of Mississippi. He took the job to secretly inflict the pain of injustices he felt as a young boy. He racially profiles white motorists accosting them. His partners in blue don't believe he is capable of such things because it would portray a black stain on the department, so the sheriff's actions are hidden until one night he encounters Matthew Worthington a rich white kid whose father is a prominent real estate guru ex-sheriff. Things get out of hand when Matthew and the sheriff exchange words. Matthew calls the sheriff a word that is offensive in nature. The sheriff and his partner Deputy Williams decide to up the anti by planting illegal drugs into Matthews car causing for an arrest. Matthew and his friend David Calloway resist causing four lives to be changed forever. Now Matthew must rely on the help of a prominent black lawyer named Cordell Stewart to save his life before it is too late.
